Sculpture

Each region possesses a certain original element which becomes a symbol of the entire national culture. Armenia’s representation of this is the “khachkar,” the so-called cross-stones: monuments of Armenia which are not found anywhere in the world. Like in every part of Armenia you will find these amazing sculpted stones in Gyumri too. Next to Holy Saviors church you will find an alley of khachkars.

Besides Khachkars there is something else that we can amaze you with too. You will find a beautiful statue at your every step.
